Requirements

* Minimum 5 years concrete construction experience * Experience on various concrete mix types and uses * Must be familiar with tools for trade * In depth knowledge of standard prep work practices * Strong work ethic – reliable and punctual * Must adhere to our safe work practices and procedures * Heavy lifting ability to lift 50 lbs * Ability to work long hours * Able to work with minimal supervision * Able to work in all temperatures and weather conditions * Ability to be a visible team-player and have excellent interpersonal skill

Responsibilities

* Builds, erects and set forms for various concrete structures and foundations * Shovel concrete into forms and/or wall panels * Prep for various types of pours including but not limited to sidewalks, curbs, stairs, walkways, loading docks, accessibility ramps, patios and driveways * Assists with site prep work as necessary * Performs duties of cutting and placing reinforcing wire mesh, preparing appropriate sand and cement mixtures and placing, pouring and rough levelling of concrete * Smooth and finish concrete by floating, troweling, edging and brushing in accordance with specifications * Builds and/or takes apart bracing, barricades, forms, scaffolding, and temporary structures
